JOB DESCRIPTION

Main Purpose of the job

  • To provide technical assistance and support sales activities to customers and business partners throughout the world.
  • To build a thorough knowledge of product applications and product capabilities. To create and deliver customer training.
  • To communicate with customer and Gardasoft teams on RMAs requests.
  • To collect and report market and application intelligence gathered from customer interactions.
  • To manage company demo equipment. To manage product literature

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering all real-time enquires from customers who have technical questions regarding the company’s products.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s products. Understand interfaces between the company’s products and software suites that are used by systems installers, to control the company’s products.
  • Work with the Applications team to provide sales support globally.
  • Create and present customer training. Use training feedback to continually improve the standard of training.
  • Collect application and market intelligence from customer interaction. Provide regular reports of market and application intelligence.
  • Efficiently manage product returns (RMAs)
  • Ensure product documentation is correct and up to date.
  • Provide on-stand support at trade shows and customer events as required from time to time.
  • Lone travel, manage meetings and act as sole Gardasoft representative.
  • This role requires occasional foreign travel.

Key skills/experience required:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to write and deliver presentations in meetings and seminars of up to 50 people.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and in person, including to people for whom English is a second language.
  • Presentable and able to project a professional image.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Ability to apply knowledge and experience to fix real engineering problems at our customer’s facilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret circuit and mechanical diagrams.
