The CC320 launched in mid 2007 is proving to be very popular within the industry. A multi purpose controller that can be used for numerous applications including triggers, delays, pass/fail and camera synchronisation the CC320 is fast gaining a reputation as an industry leader in its area.

As a result of customer feedback we have now added some additional features to the CC320 specification.

• buffer mode – allows a signal to be taken into the unit and then allows the user to invert or gate    the signal before the output stage
• time stamping of triggers – allows the user to record the time or position that a particular trigger was received with microsecond accuracy
• improved webpage – the webpage now has password protection allowing the user to control individual access and changes that can be made in the unit. It also now has a direct command facility allowing the user to quickly and easily set up the unit.

William Biederman has been appointed as Gardasoft’s agent in the United States.

William, who represents a number of companies in the US including Vision Light Tech offers a wide range of illumination, lenses and filter solutions with products used in the industrial machine vision industry and microscopy market. He can also arrange for customized products to suit individual customer requirements.

The PP900 range will be discontinued as it has been replaced by the PP500 range.

We guarantee to make the PP900 available for the next twelve months. However we will increase the price after January 2008 so please place orders now.

We have no plans to discontinue support for the PP900 at this time, even after production has ceased.

Machine Vision is moving towards Ethernet communications with GigE Vision, with the benefits of easier connectivity, longer distances and higher speeds.

Go to the PP520 page to get the PP520 specification, user manual and an application note describing the differences between the PP500 and PP600 ranges.

There is also a demo program available to configure the PP520 across a network. At present there is VB 6.0 source for this but VC++ code is planned in the next few months.

The PP500 with just keypad configuration and fast pulse versions (PP500F and PP520F) are also available. The PP701 DIN rail mount kit can be used with this controller.

Your distributor will be able to provide pricing. The PP520 is available now and the PP500 will be available in about 6 weeks.

The PP500 range is designed as an enhancement of the PP600 range. We recommend that the PP500 range is used in new applications where possible. We expect to continue production of the PP600 range for many years.

Record Growth at Gardasoft Vision

Gardasoft Vision continues to grow year on year. As a result, the quality and performance of Gardasoft’s lighting controllers is being recognised throughout the world. We believe we are already the market leader in Europe and we are aiming to have the largest market share worldwide by 2008.

New Premises

Our growth means that we have now outgrown our present manufacturing facilities. In the autumn we are planning to move to a new facility, which will provide us with over three times the existing space, thereby giving us considerable expansion potential for several years to come. More details will be given in future newsletters.

New Repairs Policy

Regrettably from time to time Gardasoft controllers break down, or are damaged during use. In the early autumn, our RMA (Return Material Authorisation) is to be restructured to ensure that you, the user, is inconvenienced as little as possible.

In the event of product failures, please contact your local Gardasoft distributor as soon as possible, giving him full details of the unit in question, and the nature of the failure. He will advise you how this will be returned to the factory.

Technical Support

Distributors will give as much technical support as they can. However, for more detailed questions they may refer you back to us at Gardasoft. We prefer email questions (support@gardasoft.com) but are happy to receive phone calls as well.

As part of our service we try to give fast, detailed technical support. Currently 90% of emails are replied to, or acknowledged within two hours of receipt.
